Boot Fitting Guidelines & Diagrams
How to measure your feet for boots: "step-by-step" guide
We need measurements of both feet (left and right) using the guidelines
in the diagrams below. Contact us for a form to be sent to you or go to your nearest
Viberg dealer. Please follow the measuring instructions carefully.
- Please write down the boot size you normally wear.
- Please wear the socks,
insoles, orthotics you intend to wear with the boots.
From a sitting position, have another person trace the outline of each foot. Make sure the pencil is held straight up and down and that it is
held snugly against the foot.
- With a soft (e.g. fabric) measuring tape pulled quite snug, measure directly behind the ball of each foot, the instep and the base of the heel.
Write those measurements in the space provided in the drawing below.
- Using the same measuring tape, measure around the leg, starting right above the ankle bone (at the
smallest part of the leg).
Then measure again every 2 inches, starting 2 inches above the ankle bone and continuing up to 17 inches.
Please record that information on the chart below.
Note: If you have a measurement already on file with us and send in another Measurement Form -- please explain why,
e.g. change in foot size, injury to foot, bunions, significant weight gain or loss, etc.
If your boots have been fitting you properly based on your measurements on file, it is not necessary to send new measurements.
